WELCOME TO OUR NEW PASTOR!

​We are excited to announce that we have found and selected a new Lead Pastor for New Life Assembly. Rev. Robert Tomes was officially elected lead pastor on Sunday Feb. 6, 2022 by a unanimous vote. Pastor Rob, as he prefers to be called, was born and raised in the city of York, PA and met his wonderful wife, Janell, while still attending high school there. Pastor Rob studied Bible and Theology through Global University in Springfield, MO and received his Pastoral Ordination in the spring of 2016. Not only does Pastor Rob and Janell have two adult children, William and Whitney, but they are also novice homesteader parents with chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, a pig, a goat, and bees as their "animal kids."

Pastor Rob is passionate about  seeing lives and communities powerfully changed through the LOVE of JESUS. Pastor Rob is excited to meet you and your family and invites you to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10 am. Come and experience the  presence of Jesus through Worship and the Word of God. The Installation Service for Rev. Robert Tomes was held on Sunday March 20, 2022. The Rev. Mark Caston, New Life's first full time pastor and now lead pastor of "The Bridge" church in Hamburg, PA presided over this joyous occasion. The spirit moved greatly during the service and the message of "a new season, new beginnings, and vision for revival" was given through exhortation. Pastor Rob said during the service that we are believing for "NewLife to be a catalyst for revival in this community and beyond."
